Paul Amos

Paul is an independent management consultant focusing on leadership and change management. He is a former Senior Fire Officer with 32 years’ service and has Tactical and Strategic Level Command experience specialising in water incident and flood rescue management.  He was a founding member of the project team that developed National Water Incident and Flood Rescue Management Standards and still trains emergency service personnel in flood rescue management. 

Paul currently lectures on the Disaster Management Programme at Undergraduate and Postgraduate level at Coventry University focusing on risk incidents and leadership, field operations and management skills.   

Paul’s role at KLA currently centres on knowledge assessment as part of the Strategic Level Command Awards with a clear focus on the application of theory and practice.
