To Revalidate or not Revalidate…….

SFJ – Effective Command (EC) - Revalidation of Incident Command in Fire and Rescue Services.

As Katherine Lamb continues to forge fantastic working relationships in Canada, with Effective Command (Canada) gaining more traction receiving great feedback, in the UK our delivery teams remain proactively engaged with our clients.

South Yorkshire Fire continue with their programme of Incident Command Revalidation at all levels. They invited a KLA delivery team in to facilitate a week of Incident Command Level 3 (ICL3) and ICL4 revalidation assessments. They also took advantage of another KLA product, the half day Incident Command Input covering topics including; Effective Command Behavioural Marking Framework, recent developments in Incident Command Assessment and analysis of local data from EC. The feedback from SYFRS TDC SM Alastair Forster and delegates receiving their revalidation has been amazing.

“Katherine Lamb Associates courses are always interactive. The safe space that is created by the instructors allows for experiences to be shared and collective learning to take place. The scenarios are challenging, and the feedback always provides the candidates opportunities to learn and grow.” Mike Anthony SYFRS ICL3 Revalidation.

Carrying on with the theme of Revalidation, one of KLA’s delivery teams descended on Nottinghamshire Fire to deliver for them a day of ICL2 Revalidation of Incident Command. Notts Fire continue with their support of KLA booking more and more courses across the breadth of IC products available.

The revalidation of Incident Command follows successful completion of a SFJ Award in the Fire and Rescue Service attained with a recognised accredited centre. As an accredited centre, K Lamb Associates offer the suite of such Award courses from Level 3 (ICL1), Level 4 (ICL2), Level 6 (ICL3) and Level 7 (ICL4).
