The Power of (Level) Three......and Four and Six

K Lamb Associates continue to trek across the country bringing vast experience, credibility, and professional training delivery to Incident Command in various UK Fire Services.

We successfully delivered 3 more SFJ (SFJ) Awards, Level 3 Award – Initial Incident Command in Fire and Rescue Services. In Humberside Fire a KLA Trainer supported the in-house IC Team to deliver two 2-day Level 3 courses. The third Level 3 course was delivered to the Bermuda Fire Service, in country, news on this and other course delivery will be shared in a separate LinkedIn post.

Once again, we delivered the new SFJ Awards, Level 4 Award – Design & Delivery of Incident Command Training in Fire and Rescue Services, this time hosted by Hereford & Worcester Fire with delegates from Cumbria Fire and Merseyside Fire.

Staffordshire Fire hosted a SFJ Awards, Level 4 Award – Intermediate Incident Command in Fire and Rescue Services. The KLA delivery team thoroughly enjoyed the course with all delegates contributing equally to the group discussions.

A KLA delivery team attended Hampshire & Isle of Wight Fire to facilitate a SFJ Awards, Level 6 Award – Advanced Incident Command in Fire and Rescue Services. A great course, the team commented on how all the delegates demonstrated true professionalism in their approach.

Finally, South Yorkshire Fire welcomed a team to facilitate a SFJ – Effective Command (EC) – Incident Command Level 3 (ICL3) Revalidation Assessment of Incident Command. The delegates faced new challenging, realistic, and bespoke incident scenarios. We pride ourselves on delegates not seeing the same scenario year after year.

Does your organisation collect the data collected from training, incident monitoring and formal assessments and if so, how? The Effective Command Behavioural Marking Tool enables you to collect such data which can then be used to inform future training cycles or influence change to the organisations SOPs.
