SFJ Awards - Effective Command - ICL4 (Tactical) Assessment (CCS)

This class is applicable for individuals who hold the SFJ Level 7 Award in Strategic Incident Command or are operating Level 4 Commanders. This Skills for Justice Awards certified revalidation has been written in full consideration of the National Operational Guidance document, the Incident Command Training Specification and the Training and revalidation guidance document.

Course details

  • 1 x Day

  • 4 x KLA Instructors, including a Strategic peer trainer

  • 2 x Delegates

KLA will provide -

  • All instructors to deliver the course

  • Sector competent and qualified trainers at the appropriate tier

  • All teaching and assessment materials

  • Scenarios appropriate to the role and tailored to your FRS demographics and risks

Each Delegate will receive -

  • SFJ certified assessment

  • 8 x hours IFE recognised CPD/Command hours

  • ICL4 Effective Command report

Course format

  • 2 x delegates attend a 1-day face-to-face revalidation consisting of -

    • 2 x incident Command scenarios

    • Each candidate will participate as either Incident Commander or peer assessor in each scenario

    • Each candidate will deliver a full scenario debrief

FRS To Provide

  • Training venue

  • Access to a command support facility – either a suitable training room or utilising the FRS vehicle

  • A competent command support team

We come to you!

If you don’t have enough delegates to fill a class, there are two options:

1) You host the event and we invite delegates from neighbouring FRSs to make up the numbers.

2) We arrange for another FRS to host the event and you send your delegates there. In this example, we can arrange hotel accommodation for your delegates and include this on your invoice.
