Peter Iveson

Peter served for over 30 years with Tyne and Wear Fire & Rescue Service and gained experience of Operational Command at every level under the rank/role structure. 

For the last 9 years of his career as a Group Manager, Peter was a District Manager and Tactical Commander on the Flexi-Duty Officer Rota where he gained extensive experience of command at local, regional and national incidents as well working at Tactical Co-ordination Groups for a number of high profile incidents and training exercises. 

He is qualified to Skills For Justice Level 6 in Incident Command and has a Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement. As a middle manager Peter has experience of major project implementation and had an active role in recruitment, selection and development processes.
