Plan, Plan, Plan 2024

Katherine Lamb is now well advanced in setting the plans out for K Lamb Associates (KLA) in 2024. The calendar is quickly filling up, a combination of existing clients planning ahead, and new clients engaged with us on what their training requirements for next year are. Exciting times ahead for the delivery teams as we welcome new clients, more on that to come.

The close working relationship with @Greater Manchester Fire (GMFRS) continues, a KLA course director has been on-site providing guidance and support to their Incident Command Team as they deliver, through KLA, a SFJ Awards, Level 3 Award – Initial Incident Command in Fire and Rescue Services.

Staffordshire Fire’s HQ was once again the venue for another KLA delivery of the SFJ Awards, Level 7 Award – Strategic Incident Command in Fire and Rescue Services. In conjunction with Staffordshire’s Civil Contingencies Unit (CCU), 2 delegates from GMFRS experienced being the Chairperson at a complex Strategic Coordination Group meeting. CFO Dave Russel and ACFO Carlos Meakin both commented on the realism injected into the exercise mainly because of the authentic role players that bring it to life. At such an important level of qualification KLA would not settle for anything less than what is an expertly organised day.

Katherine Lamb made a short 2-day visit to Sweden where talks with long standing colleagues centred around The Effective Command Behavioural Marking Framework. Constructive discussions with mutual benefits.

All Levels of Incident Command Training, Fire Control Incident Command Training, Promotion Processes, Strategic Mentoring & Support, we can advise you on these and the many products available from KLA to fulfil your IC training needs as well as explaining more about the Effective Command (EC) Behavioural Marking Framework for IC.
