“It’s a marathon not a sprint”

Much admiration is bestowed upon every person who participates in any marathon and at K Lamb Associates under the stewardship of Katherine Lamb we can draw some parallels with the ethos of the entrants. Anything worth having must be earned and it is for this reason that every single class run by K Lamb Associates requires not only the dedication of the delivery teams but also a desire by the delegates to give their all in pursuit of the reward whether that is the awarding of a certificate or the attainment of a qualification.

Last week was incredible in that K Lamb Associates engaged with no fewer than 10 different Fire & Rescue Services using a blended delivery approach across a wide range of classes supported through SFJ Awards.

Delegates from,

Tyne & Wear Fire and Rescue Service, Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service, Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service , Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service, Debyshire Fire and Rescue Service, Northamptonshire Fire and Rescue Service, Warwickshire Fire and Rescue Service, Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service, Bedfordshire Fire and Rescue Service (BFRS) and West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service all benefitted from expertly delivered and constructively supported classes.

At the request of BFRS, in line with the annual standardisation workshops, Katherine Lamb spent the day with their Strategic and Senior Leadership Teams interpreting the myriad of data points contained within The Effective Command Behavioural Marking Framework. Distilled down to represent BFRS’s input compared to the National data, much learning was had from the group about how they continue to develop their Incident Commanders.

Would your Fire Service benefit from learning more about the Effective Command Behavioural Marking Framework? Why not visit our website to learn more about it and the excellent array of Incident Command courses we deliver both Nationally and Internationally. There is a contact page if you want to discuss your training and assessment needs with one of the team.
