Spring Cleaning….

Spring is in the air and what better time for K Lamb associates to review its modus operandi. Behind the scenes the company has been busy taking stock, including a review of its organisational structure. With new associates to on-board, new clients to support and the marked increase in work on the domestic and international front, new internal administrative roles have been created to better support the work of the delivery teams and therefore ensure that we remain at the forefront of Incident Command training and assessment in the Fire Service.

One of our delivery teams was once again welcomed at Staffordshire Fire Service last week to deliver their SFJ Incident Command Level 2 (ICL2) revalidations. Delegates were exposed to some challenging scenarios, at all times supported by the very experienced and knowledgeable team with data collected for feedback through the EC Behavioural Marking Scheme.

This week sees Katherine Lamb’s Strategic Assessors engaging with Tyne & Wear Fire (TWFRS) and Greater Manchester Fire (GMFRS). TWFRS will be putting 3 more of their Strategic ICs through their ICL4 (tactical) revalidations, complex scenarios based in their service area really add to the experience for the delegates. Meanwhile GMFRS will be hosting and have delegates attending a SFJ Awards, Level 7 Award in Strategic Incident Command in the Fire Service (Phase 1). Other delegates are joining from Warwickshire Fire Service and Lancashire Fire Service. Credible and authentic Strategic Assessors will be guiding the delegates through what is an intensive couple of days.
