Pace is picking up

The pace is picking up, Katherine Lamb supported by the K Lamb Associates delivery teams enjoyed another good week working with several existing Fire and Rescue Service clients and engaging with a new FRS client.

Support was provided to Greater Manchester and West Yorkshire as their Incident Command delivery teams, using our local delivery model, assessed to SFJ Awards, Level 3 Award in Initial Incident Command in the Fire Service. Well done to the successful delegates on these courses.

Our Strategic Assessors spent the week working with 2 FRSs, TWFRS and GMFRS. In TWFRS we assessed the remaining 3 of their Strategic Incident Command Team at ICL4 Revalidation. A successful 2 days with delegates stretching themselves against incredibly challenging bespoke incident scenarios. Realistic, authentic, and credible, the whole delivery team worked tirelessly to ensure a seamless event.

In GMFRS 3 of our Strategic Assessors spent 2 days facilitating the SFJ Awards, Level 7 Award in Strategic Incident Command in the Fire Service. Delegates from GMFRS along with colleagues from Lancashire Fire and Warwickshire Fire enjoyed an immersive experience engaging in stimulating debate around several strategic topics.

Finally, Hereford & Worcester Fire welcomed us into their service to deliver our initial Effective Command Assessor Training. An interesting day spent talking all things Effective Command and Incident Command. An enjoyable day, one of many in the future.
