Dave Fraser-Jones

Dave is a former Station Commander from Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service. He has over 31 years of Operational, Training and Personnel Development experience, which included large-scale multi-agency exercise building and delivery. This included a multi-agency exercise at Salford University in 2009 involving 500 emergency staff and volunteers.  Dave’s qualifications are GIFireE and ILM.

Having worked in Salford, Thameside and Bury Boroughs, he had responsibility for the operational personnel and the development of Trainees as they worked through their NVQ process. 

During this time, Dave bought the ILM level 5 Qualification and Workplace Coaching - Level 3. This resulted in aiding several members of the Service, both uniformed and non-uniformed, on a one-to-one basis to improve their personal development. 

Since leaving the Fire Service, Dave worked at the Fire College for a period, he then joined KLA over 3 years ago as an Assessor and Trainer, more recently as a Course Director. Working on ICL Levels 2 and 3 and works on the delivery of Command support courses to ensure a consistent approach.
