Easily one of the best development courses I have attended

Katherine Lamb and the KLA delivery teams have been super busy once more delivering a raft of SFJ Awards to Fire Services across the UK. Warwickshire FRS and Humberside FRS both welcomed our teams as they delivered SFJ Awards, Level 4 Award in Intermediate Incident Command in the Fire Service. Also, in Warwickshire FRS our team delivered a SFJ Effective Command ICL2 revalidation. Whilst in Tyne & Wear FRS our team delivered a SFJ Effective Command ICL3 revalidation.

“A very professional and well organised SGC Exercise with talented people facilitating using a wealth of experience.” AM Damien Borlase – SFJ Awards Level 7 Award in Strategic Command in the Fire Service

East Sussex FRS hosted an Effective Command Behavioural Marking Framework renewal workshop as part of their annual license agreement. A wonderful opportunity to learn more about the organisations development and learning from the framework data points.

Katherine Lamb this week found herself in Vigo, Spain where she had been invited to speak at the International Fire Instructors Workshop. Another opportunity to network with like-minded operators in the field of Incident Command.

One of our Strategic Assessors delivered a Strategic Workshop to Leicester FRS this week focusing on Leadership. The workshop was very well received with one delegate saying “how impressed I was with the input today, well received by all including the Chief Fire Officer. I will be in touch to discuss this becoming an annual event.”

“Easily one of the best development courses I have attended. Extremely impressed by the tutor's knowledge and delivery throughput the week. I definitely feel more comfortable with intermediate command and the expectations of the role.” Chris Hargreaves - Humberside FRS delegate attending a SFJ Awards, Level 4 Award in Intermediate Incident Command in the Fire Service
