Stand In-Line for this new On-line Version.....

Katherine Lamb and K Lamb Associates have listened to our client base and developed an on-line version of the SFJ Awards Level 7 Award in Revalidation of Strategic Incident Command in Fire and Rescue Services. Last week saw the very first delivery of it with 2 strategic commanders from Greater Manchester Fire closely followed by a second course again with 2 strategic commanders this time from County Durham & Darlington Fire. Anecdotal evidence confirms the course was well received, and with more bookings in the schedule this offering perfectly complements our in-person version. Thanks goes to Steve Harris for his research and development of this excellent product. Initial feedback just in.

“Well facilitated SCG scenario & Level 7 revalidation exercise.” AM Ben Cairns CDDFRS

Internationally, Bermuda beckons once more; our delivery team are back in country 1 year on delivering more SFJ-Effective Command-ICL1 Revalidations Assessments with the Bermuda Fire Service. Week one of a two-week assignment, feedback from the team is positive.

Lincolnshire Fire continue their engagement with KLA as we deliver another set of SFJ-EC-ICL3 Revalidation Assessments. Always enthusiastic, delegates experienced challenging scenarios in their own surroundings utilising command assets and peers to support them throughout. Using the Effective Command Behavioural Marking Framework, more invaluable data has been collected on incident command trends.

KLA saw it as a privilege to be invited to play an important part in the search for the next Chief Fire Officer of East Sussex Fire. We sent a team of experienced trainers and a strategic assessor to facilitate a day incorporating an SFJ-EC-ICL4 (Tactical) Assessment. The candidate was exposed to a significant and challenging scenario followed by attendance at a SCG and finished with a simulated media interview.

What can KLA help you and your service with? We have many Incident Command products all excellently facilitated. Why not get in touch through our website or use the contact details and speak to someone about your IC training needs.
