Destination Malaysia, Southeast Asia, but not for a holiday!
The month of August is traditionally a time when Katherine Lamb and all KLA’s Associates get some well-earned rest in preparation for the super busy season ahead, autumn. However, that isn't the case for two of our most experienced trainers, John-Paul Williams and Ed Case. Instead, they are starting a 2-week assignment in Malaysia, Southeast Asia. KLA have been asked to deliver bespoke Incident Command Training for the local equivalent of ICL1 &2 commanders. KLA’s modus operandi (MO) as always, delivering quality IC training wherever the client needs it.
No such thing as down time, Katherine Lamb took the opportunity to chair an on-line quarterly team meeting. Interesting updates included outcomes from the EQA’s report following the successful recent annual inspection, progress on the development of KLA’s long awaited Incident Command Training for Control Room Operatives (CCS), work requests from new fire service clients as well as existing ones and some fascinating enquires through our website including one related to emergency resilience from a major UK utility provider, watch this space!
Fire Service Delegate Feedback; “Costa, Trevor and Dean were all brilliant and everyone on the course learned so much. Their experience and knowledge helped to shape their feedback to us, and this was always well presented and made it clear where we needed to improve after each scenario. Fantastic course.” SFJ Awards, Level 4 Award in Intermediate Incident Command, Cambridgeshire FRS.
