Written assignments
Technical input
Group based scenario training
Formative assessments – delivered using simulation (Days 1-3)
Summative assessments conducted using practical scenarios on the drill ground (Day 4)
Student-led debriefing – using the College of Policing debrief model
KLA will provide
Pre-course reading lists/assignments/assessments
Support to the delegates whilst writing/researching assignments
Technical Content - Scenarios and associated lesson plans/briefs
ePortfolios
SFJ registrations, IQA and EQA costs as per accredited centre requirements
Host service to provide
All training venues
Support with exercise delivery as required
Practical assistance with all Summative assessments (Day 4) to include -
Qualified and competent instructors for practical scenarios
Safety Officers as required by the scenario
All additional equipment/scenario tools – fully kitted training appliances and vehicles for RTC training as required by the scenarios
PPE, safety briefs and risk assessment for the drills
KLA Assessors will solely be responsible for the collection of evidence for the qualification during these exercises
