Kilo Lima Alfa to CONTROL COMMANDERS........receiving.

For the past few months Katherine Lamb and K Lamb Associates have been working closely with a Fire Control working group to develop the Effective Command tool kit for the training of Incident Command for Fire Control Officers. Katherine said " I’m excited to report that the Effective Command tool kit for the training of Incident Command for Fire Control Officers will be launched on the 4th September 2023."

This Effective Command – Fire Control tool kit includes:

> Dedicated database for Fire Control personnel

> Assessment criteria aligned to NOG, NFCC guidance and associated role maps – these can be used for recording training, operational assurance or observations, formal assessments and recording of command hours.

> Training and assessment tools that are endorsed by SFJ Awards through their affiliation with Effective Command

> Dedicated Fire Control training portal and training resources – annually 4 x L1 scenarios and 2 x L2 scenarios will be released for training purposes.
